This is a place for me to store ideas I want to develop, have developed, or am still thinking about how to implement. Feel free to take them and run with it!
- Large Scale Jenga with numbered pieces to connect to pre-made question list. Each team takes turns pulling one piece, which their group has to answer. If they get it wrong, they have to pull again until they succeed. One point per successful answer, the team that makes it fall loses all points.
- March Sadness Bracket. A bracket of pre-made characters from one or all novels a group does. Can be 16, 32, 64 large. Students would make brackets based on empathy they feel toward a character then take turns debating why ‘x’ character deserves more empathy using text examples. Most correct bracket wins!

- Dead Word Graveyard – Build and hang area for words that are dead to our class, aka overused or offensive.
- Word Wall, shaped like class content words are from, isometric shape for 8th, microbit for 6th, tablet for 7th.
- Develop annotation activity with language arts help
- Record audiobook chapters (2 and 8) for Patient Zero to offer an alternative reading to students and instructors.
